About Adam Black

VJ Adam Black has crafted his own unique brand of crowd engagement combining forgotten and classic music videos, with today’s HD hits, and remix edits, and bringing them to your dance floor or live venue with his signature swagger. He co-created the seminal alternative dance promotional group Front 312 in Chicago in the late 2000s, throwing a wide range of dance and live acts at the legendary Neo Nightclub, the world-famous Liars Club, the notorious Exit bar, Debonair Social Club, and others.

In the 2010’s he performed a number of events with Team Clown Tits and the legendary fetish performer Miss Maya Sinstress, performing at the one and only Cabaret Metro, The world famous Admiral Theater, The first ever Sex Awards (filmed for Showtime) and appearing on Sex with Sunny Megatron (also for Showtime)

Adam also has done lighting effects for numerous stars from Ru Paul’s Drag Race (All seasons) as well as for the likes of Kat De Luna, Elvis Crespo, La Bouche, Crystal Waters & More.
He performed with the Electro- Punk group The Electrodes, the “Punk N Roll” group The Babyshakers and the Indie / Shoegaze outfit Many Moons at various venues around the Chicago area.

Currently Adam is booking dates in the Chicago area.

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I’ve been streaming music video sets, as well as video game content on Twitch for my mental health, to help make ends-meet, and to network with peers and fans.
