About Adam Black

DJ Adam Black has crafted his own unique brand of crowd engagement combining forgotten and classic music videos, with today’s HD hits, and remix edits, and bringing them to your dance floor or event with his signature swagger.

He co-created the seminal alternative dance promotional group Front 312 in Chicago in the late 2000s, throwing a wide range of dance and live acts at the legendary Neo Nightclub, the world-famous Liars Club, the notorious Exit bar, Debonair Social Club, The Victor Hotel and others.

Adam also has done lighting effects for numerous stars from Ru Paul’s Drag Race (All seasons) as well as for the likes of Kat De Luna, Elvis Crespo, La Bouche, Crystal Waters & More.

During the 2000s & 2010s Adam performed live playing guitar and bass with various punk and electronic outfits: The Electrodes, The Babyshakers, Many Moons & Black Automatic, at numerous venues around Chicago, including the notorious Mutiny, and the legendary Double Door

In the 2010s he hosted and performed at events held at Metro, The Admiral Theater, The Flat Iron, as well as programming for Showtime.

At the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Adam turned to streaming on Twitch; and built an amazing community of music fans, gamers and Lego enthusiasts. You can still find him streaming weekly playing game and Lego content.
